Did you trim them up the front afterwards Bald Monkey, it looks ten times better when you do :001_smile:

I suggested that but the guy was happy with them as they were. He said he may trim at a later date.

All looks good bald monkey, mine was just blood sweat and tears:sad:.

The job is in the Wigan area, Standish to be exact. Unfortunately I have never used a chainsaw in a tree (hence using the silky) and so am pretty clueless as to how to finish, or at least the technicalities. Will try and have a word with the woman who's tree it is and see if she'd be interested in getting it properly finished, I'd love to shadow someone whilst they do it. Will pass on details if she decides to to anyone who may be interested though, would be a shame to just leave it but will have to see what she wants.

You could allways buy a bow saw and do it like they did in the old days :001_smile: (you would be surprised at what you can cut with one)
