Got one weeks ago . Only problem has been this bent av spring .

We had the grey plastic bit that is attached to the spring fracture off the saw was dangling in half this was in the middle of a very serious call out in wish I had the 201t at the time the build quality is much better this said I was really enjoying the power of the husky before this such a shame . They are looking into the damage as a warranty issue and replacing the tool strop although we had no problem with it unlike the 150t that fell from the tree the other day that will be going back which is a shame as it's my favourite saw :(

Hey all

Been reading the 201T v the 540 battle on here in various forms and also talking to arbs ''in the flesh'' (shudder :001_huh:)

I'm looking to buy my first tophandled saw in the next week or so - I've got the price down for either of the above via various shops & sites to £500 all in (give or take a few).

So as I see it there is a split view on which is best with no real definative points to win me over:confused1:

My choice is really then based on which of my local Sthil & Husky dealerships I prefer in customer service?

Which means a 201T.

If there is a horror story I've missed please shout up!

Many thanks

Russ
