my ranger has 15 inch rims at the moment, if i put 16 inch rims on apart from gearing it up a bit,does it affect speedo ? any other potential problems to look out for? cheers

The speedo will need to be reset as I did a similar thing to my jimny. What do you aim to achieve by fitting bigger wheels?

Ahh okay well if your not after a bigger looking wheel then you could do the math and get as close to the original size as you can. If you put your tyre size here I can probs work it out for you as best as possible

In that case then and by my calculations 235 70 16 will come in at exactly the same diameter as 235 75 15 so you'll be fine, no need to reset the speedo and won't alter the gearing at all 👍

Thanks guys, you answered a question I didn't even know I had! I'm looking to move from road tyres to a/ts on my Mazda. Currently running 265/75R15. Will make a note of that, see if can get entire wheels on ebay.
