NPTC assessor in North Essex/Herts?

Rather than NPTC, I would choose LANTRA assessments - If nothing else you get a proper ID skills card rather than the stupid self adhesive fold over paper card rubbish that NPTC issue.

 

I know there meant to be on a level playing field but I think it will be a while before Lantra chainsaw Certs are seen the same as the good old nptc's

Why do you think I suggested it. :sneaky2:

 

I have put lads through Lantra Maint and crosscut, then NPTC felling, then Lantra Climbing Quals.

 

they are TOTALLY interchangeable.

 

 

At the end of the day though, its Android Vs Ipad. Husky Vs Stihl. Landrover Vs HiLux.

 

 

 

Cant change, wont change.

Unfortunately in my case it's probably down to the instructor assessor etc but all the lantra courses I've done I didn't feel like any real training took place or anyone learnt anything it was all a bit pot luck in the assessment side of things too but as I said might just be the assessor that had that effect
