HI TREE so they were gassing off we had battery give a gas when winching with 12v winch with our there was a seal boiling that battery was only less then a 1 year old thank jon :thumbup:

 

If its gasing off under load that's probably the fluid evaporating.

 

Charging causes explosive gasses, if the gas builds up and finds a spark you get a bang.

HI TREE I've been told if under load to lots of load like winching and you have seal or 2 down they can boil that will give off smell i do not jump starting things up just incase the battery goes up thanks tree jon :thumbup:
