oh yes. thats what im talking about. very nice in a maersk big ship. sadly i have yet to actually witness these seas, not had a storm in a long time.

 

closest i have is going out of the harbour entrance and finding a "hole".

 

i have sat in the trough on the lifeboat and its not a nice place to sit, the sideways motion really tries to throw you off your feet.

 

on xmass eve we had a shout and were in the trough i truely felt sick but still done the task and got home.

 

i hope that everyone stays safe on monday, tree surgeons and seaman alike.

 

remember lads that tree is not worth your life.:thumbup1:

Balls to the bark for my crews. Unless theres lightning we will be in the trees.

HI MATE yes but it no good up a tree in 90mph winds now is or trees falling around your feet mate thanks jon :thumbup:

done the Bay of Biscay in a force10 twice, 18 hour rollercoaster

 

Used to take us 2 days to cross the bay. On the last trip back from the med, we were beam on for a week from the right turn out of the gib straight until we dropped anchor off English coast.

HI JLA I've been out so called one of our lot said let going fishing in a force 8 now thats just mad we all went mad at chap who booked it up out there for 1hr mad thanks jon :thumbup:
