A useful reference for log sellers?

I came across this EU report last year and have included a couple of snips here to help the discussion. Its full title is 'Wood Fuels Handbook, Production, Quality Requirements, Trading'. Its 83 pages long and quite technical but makes interesting reading on a long wet day! Sorry cant remember where I found it.

I know this is a stupid question but:

 

How much does a cord of hardwood weigh?

 

Roughly, there-abouts, give-or-take, about, roundly, total guess....:001_smile:

 

I've got someone who wants to flog me hw cord for £130 delivered, which I know is too high.

well thats not tooo bad, i have been offered at £55 per m3 so if theres 3 cube per cord thats £165 so your ok at £130 bearing in mind its more expensive the less volume you buy:thumbup:
