Stevie, ours is a tracked vermeer model. s600tx. My back breath a sigh of relief every time i turn the key.:001_smile:

I nearly bought a Boxer, but at the time there was no dealer support, i gather this has changed in the last 3 years. We will look at them again when the vermeer gets replaced in the autumn.

I cannot rate these machines highly enough. Absolutely superb for treework.

I manufacture quite a few specialised implements for these machines, much better than the standard ones they come with.

Here's the stumpgrinder we make...

That looks just the job. You say you manufacture these stump grinders, What sort of money are they compaired to buying indipendant machine

i used to have a small skidsteer, i only ever used it on a few jobs. it was terible for turning up slabs, it was over a ton though, what is yours like. i find all these toys great if it doesnt matter about damage. i had a tiny tracked chipper out last week and it still managed to break some paving in a straight line:thumbdown:

The Price of the machines range from £8k to £15,800.

We have some demo units available if you are interested?

As with all track machines, if you are careful and know how to drive both tracks at the same time when turning etc then you shouldnt have any problem turning on sensitive ground. Tracked is always better than wheeled and even tracks over wheels, due to the stability of the machine and load.

Its the fact that they are small in height, light in weight, yet bags of power and carrying/working capacity that make these machines so brilliant.

There is also a remote control machine available so you dont even have to go near the machine.

It tips into a skip (unlike some of into competitors) and is one of those machines that once you try it you start to wonder which of your other tough applications it could do .. and as others have pointed out.. save your back , time and your money!

We have 300, 400 and 500 series machines with attachments for hire and sale from our 5 depots nationwide.

Stevie,

As Baz states, once you know how to operate them they can be used almost anywhere with little damage. The trick we have is to always have a couple of 8 x 4 ground mats with the machine. Then if you need to spin on the spot on a lawn or paviors you can do it without leaving a mark.
