Hi folks,

Reporting from sick bay. I went down with flu symptoms on Sunday, o.k.get over it in a couple of days. Stayed at home Monday/Tuesday, went back to work Wednesday. An hour into my shift, I am feeling crap again, finished work a little earlier but my hands had come up in a kind of blistery rash.

Now I have swelling & pain in all my joints I had doctor out to me Thursday, which I NEVER do, I will visit a doc whenever I can. The scary bit is, I can't walk:scared1:

It seems I have a virus that has sneaked in (I should get blood test results back today). It takes me several minutes to stand up as I can't lean on anything, it hurts so much it's very sary to think that within 1 day I have gone from so active to soooo inactive. I do have views on euthanasia, & they've been reinforced. Call me a wimp if you want, but I could not live in this much pain for years on end.

O.K.Grumble over, later folks:001_smile:

In the old western films there was always some travelling quak selling a cureall made from snake oil. That's what I prescribe. A litre of snake oil and four slices of dry white toast. You'll thank me later. Joints are rubbish arn't they?

Doc.

Joints are rubbish, yes!!

Doc been back & had a look n says I may need to go to hospital. (Life gets tedious don't it?) I am moving a little better now & am not feeling flu-ish anymore, so hopefully they may pass on the elephant gun. Doc has gone to raid the bookshelf under the heading of 'Wow, that's unusual'.

I thought only the missus & her family had dibs on unusual illnesses:001_tongue:

Tiz Anterior Ryobiitis, normally a Southerners disease, brought on by the idea of topical shrubbery cutbacks, but global warming may have accelerated it to Northern reaches. My cure fr it was 4 pints of Old Peculiar ( Didn't cure the symptoms-but it stopped you thinking about it -:sneaky2: )
