Hi All, I am planning of getting wood in ready for next years supply and Ive been offered 2 different loads, a 25 ton arctic load, or a lorry load. I can visualise the 25 ton artic load, but for the lorry load the guy is saying that he will have 2 bays with 9ft lengths in both full to the top.

 

How many cbm will I roughly get from the full lorry?

Artic usually has 3 bays of logs 3 meters long, hard wood weight depending on species 23-27 tonnes.

 

From an artic load you will get about 45 cubic meters of logs.

Great thanks for that Alycidon, I reckon from the truck load I should have about 2 thirds of the amount I would get from an artic. And funnily enough I saw a truck and drag today while making a delivery.
