It generally works the opposite way. With experience, knowledge and repetition you get calmer....or at least that's how it is for most people, I think.

 

I still have bad moments....usually on dead firs for one reason or another. Calm but heightened senses is where you want to be. Focused but level headed.

 

But you know, its often the easy ones that'll get you,....when you drop your guard or turn your back.

 

Oh I'm calm, but do have the feeling of heightened senses. A bit like just before a motor accident , when time seems to slow, you're aware of stupid insignificant details which you seem never to forget after and thoughts are going through your head at a zillion mph.

 

Must just be me then:confused1:

Im the same calm but ponderously calculating through my available options. Its like a multi angle slideshow but can be a second or a few. Bit like choosing what to eat from a menu.

It only kicks in when it has to though, the rest of my life runs in real time.:001_smile:
