Ms260 fuel usage

evening all

MS 260 with 15 bar,

fully understand type of wood, using full bar length etc etc all make a difference

but what should be the rough/average length of time a tank of fuel should last . Say using to it max cutting full bar length

The fuel should run out leaving oil in the tank with the oiler set to full when both are full to begin with!

 

If you are concerned about the fuel consumption, get the carb set by someone that knows what they are doing:thumbup:

used to run 260, very small fuel tank. fill used to last about 35 mins in light to medium felling, husky 346 would run 10 mins longer (but has larger tank) so consumption simular

You old just check the colour of the plug and make sure the centre electrode is tan in colour. Black and it us too rich!
