offical line is to use the tool. but digging out carefully isnt an issue to be honest. and replace using a sutible long socket of the right size.

 

The tool isn't good on MS200Ts, a sharp awl and a belt on the end of it with a hammer usually shifts the seals - expect them to shatter and then dig out the debris - safety glasses are good when doing this.

 

Clean the seat and insert the new ones with a suitable socket on the seal and tap in to place.
