Yes, today i kicked out the VT for a Spiderjack 2.1 Dyneema and set it up on a roof joist.

 

3' off the ground and whooooaaaaaa sheeeet - the instructions weren't kidding about no panic feature..........:blushing:

 

 

LOW AND SLOW - I GET IT:thumbup1:

Remember those days well. Takes a while to get used to. Have you watched the vids on youtube? Is right about getting the most from the SJ. Have to feed the rope into the device not pull to one side as you do with HC etc. Still get hairy moments with it though.

Yes, Spiderjackery 3 is something to aim for :biggrin:

The instructional one is good and what pretty much sold it to me.

 

 

Love the 'no sit-back' and the self tending as opposed to the VT.

It's gonna take a long time to become second nature, but i think i've made the right choice.
