Can you change it from .325 to 3/8 if so has anyone done it . I asked on Buxtons and just got a vague blank expression from the youth serving

A lot of people prefer to run 3/8" on a 550 and 560...

 

 

Very easy - just change the rim from .325 to 3/8 and a new bar and chain...

 

Not sure if oregon do a 3/8" sprocket (or any sprocket) for the 550 at the moment (they do for the 560...)

 

You have the grunt there to use a larger chain.

 

 

I have all the Sugi bars in the 3/8 version Products for the category: Special Offers

 

 

 

Please note .375 = 3/8

 

Due to the way the selectors work I can't use the '/' sign in a lot of the product details.
