Some folk might find this mildly interesting :001_smile:

 

to get the rigged branches away from the embankment onto the level lawn we decided to use a tag (pull) line, worked out alright....for most of these branches the tagline only comes into play after the branch has been lowered to a standstill, pretty basic tree surgery really

Ben, Zipline.....looked at that as a possibility before we started, ruled it out for various reasons.

 

Deano polyprop, it has it uses and that is one of them. Although it was a special green polyprop with 3500 kg MBS

 

Pete, that was the idea, sometimes the simplest solutions are overlooked.
