Hi all,

really wanting to get on with hc, system, I've just tied the Knut, and had a quick play at home, before I rush in and get a hc pulley I've just tried it with a normal petzl pulley and petzl cut away strap, hope this Is ok? If it is I will try it tommorow and if I get on with the Knut order a couple of hc pulleys,

Pretty smart solution can't see a problem myself. That's a pretty long Knut set-up the shorter it is the less sit back you will have and generally more reliable grab, I tend to fluctuate at the moment mine is as long as yours but with the cord I use it occasionally needs a conscious setting to make it grab not ideal! I like it though because it always breaks easy.

the knot looks more like a distel from here mate , regardless , i would say if your in a transition period bro defiantly shorten that hitch up a bit it will make it feel more safe and give you the desired grip your after. flag the prussic bro , sure its a great knot and a lot of us learnt on it but.... there is so much more freedom in other knots and setups which ultimately will make you a lot faster when moving around the crown.
