Cheers Markarb. I think I'm with you Russbushpig; it'll be Myerscough for me to, if only for their more consistent use of email.

I've just emailed Myersough for more details.

Have you had a reply yet? I'm still waiting. Is it the case that they won't answer emails till term starts again...

I done mine through a distance learning college called learning curve and they set my work etc, and I took my exams at Bicton College.

Had a reply yesterday to say there was now a waiting list, so I'm going to fill in the application form, send it off and wait and see if there's a space for me this year.

Otherwise if that falls through my options are either to wait till next year with Myerscough, wait and see if my first choice Reaseheath restarts their part-time course next year, or do the HCC course this year and hope whichever tutor I get has entered the 21st century and uses email!

I have a feeling that'll I'll opt for the HCC course this year as I want to keep up my motivational momentum; it's been a busy, productive year so far, I want to try and keep it going, otherwise I'll just turn lazy again :)

Had the exact same reply so I've been looking at hcc! What's the deal with that hcc cert in arboriculture? It only about 190 quid??? If this is going to get me the same level of learning as the rfs course I might just go for it, as I'm self employed and not looking to impress employers with qualifications, just looking to further my own knowledge...

Am the same mate and thought the same, though we gotta do certain lantra courses for the full level2 status, so basically this is just the theory side of it
