Run Time

Can anybody tell me the approximate run time for a stihl 010av with a full tank of fuel and under normal load. All my other saws give a reasonable run time, but this little fella only runs for about 15mins, which seems quite a short time. There is no obvious reasons, tank leak, fuel line split. Any information would be welcome:confused1:

I am a collector of old stihl machinery, and have several machines, (FS08, 08 post hole borer, 08s, 08seq, 07, Contra, 076av, Planking mill c/w 2 x 076 saws, S10, 051av, 041av, 021av, 012 av, 011av, and 010av) :001_smile:

my first saw was a 038 i only put 3 tanks of fuel through it and said sod this its going on ebay i was shocked how juicy it was!! even just playing around on small logs glad really its gone i dont think my back would hold up to using it all day so put up with an old 024 for logging now lasts ages on a tank i think maybe certain vintage saws would use a lot more fuel compared to the latest saws etc i dread to think what my old solorex will be like when i get round to putting it to good use
