Jis some random aftermarket that will prolly grenade eventually. But, it's not like it's goin in to a nice new saw. It's a .069 or so, good for about 210 PSI with the base gasket installed, so I am told. We'll see how it measures once it's installed. Thanks for the info on the tester!

Be interesting to say how your install goes aswell then. is that a dink on the crown where its hit a plug in the past not that it will cause an issue?

I really need to find an old dog of a 372 or 365 altho even they make strong money. Would be nice to have a form of test bed.

That's before it was fully finished. It's been ground down a few thousandths since. Yeah, I saw a 2005 Jonsered 2165 that the shop was asking nearly 500 Euro for recently. Jis silly.

I know the feeling tho not that strong a price here.

Ive been looking for a Walbro RWJ4 carb off a 372 x-torq but haven't come up trumps yet. New price is silly. The standard carb I think will be ok but it would be nice to go almost 2mm bigger on the carb.

You can bore the stock carb about 1mm over easily. 2mm is a lot to ask. I have seen some very angry 372's with a simple bore job...

This is Cusarina, a very hard wood, harder than oak. This is also using the jug I posted a pic of earlier when I said to go bananas:

His carb is bored about 1mm over.

Problem is around my area machine shops are limited alongside the fact being such a minor customer compared to the norn you end up waiting weeks for simple jobs so i tend not to bother if i can help it.

Just worked out how much my muffer mod area is at now, 80.59% of the inlet, Couldn't have found a better bit of tube lol. Im happy with that.

I bored out the one on my 444SE with a dremel ;) Just cover the outlets.

I was wondering, since they used horns with limited success on early 2 stroke bike motors if they would work on a chainsaw motor. Afterall, since it's still open, it wouldn't have to be very big. *shrug*

You mean in relation to the air filter? As in inlet trumpets? Not sure what difference they would make but on a 4 stroke you can adjust the torque pattern of a motor by different lengths.

I trialled a few on a hayabusa Turbo I built and made a difference, so did the length of exhaust in relation to setting up mid or top end torque.

Some Walbros do a great job of metering with a larger venturi. The 372, and many 50cc and 40cc sized saws are nearly over carbed. Opening the venturi a bit will not lean the mixture out if you don;t go crazy. IE, some older Walbros simply had smaller venturis, but the exact same innards otherwise.

I wanna seque into another question. I was looking at jewelers grinders. ANyone use any of the ones on EBay? I was eyeing something like this:

Rotary Machine Flexible Shaft/Hanging Grinder & Buffer Come with 161pc Accessory | eBay
