so unfortunately the tree came down.....as i said before there was a really heavy lean towards next door and they wanted it out.

 

Heres some photos of the main trunk and 1 st limb. The stem photos start with the ring cut just above the lowest bracket.

Wow brilliant pics and good to see what it gets up to!

 

Theres an ash near me thats got a bracket further up in the tree. Been like this for the last 3 years or so. Would be good to have a good look near the bracket.

Fair bit on this ash, from ground level to first fork at 8ft and then more higher in the crown. I can't understand why we think that because something hasn't been seen it doesn't happen.
