Hello,

 

But we did go to the Saint Emilion Jazz Festival to see Chic with Nile Rodgers was absolutely fab.

 

A lot of free performances, very laid back atmosphere, great local food & really nice wine.

Hi

 

@ delabodge = Yes, there was probably about 3,000 or so seats & we were right at the front, much prefer that.

 

@ Jon = they played the same set as Glastonbury plus a few other tracks.

 

And no silly prices for food or at the wine bar, from 8 euros for a nice bottle of wine or take your own.

Looks good! We only just missed a big jazz festival in July 2012 in the south west of france with a couple of acts we'd wanted to see for ages. Not sure if it was the same one as you went to or more towards Bayonne...
