Sycamore really :001_smile:

the last part of the tree was brought down in small bits and pieces (not seen in vid). Had to rig a few branches and stems off early on in the job due to a sandstone arch which can't be seen in the vid, anyway, fairly typical tree surgery, nothing out of the ordinary really, feel free to comment...good or bad. Tree was left as a 25ft mono to re-sprout.

might want to watch in 480p to improve image quality

Nice Tim, enjoyed the smoothness of the rigging. One question though, why carefully rig down the wood, then spear cut the last top into the ground?

cheers Josh, the spear/slice cut at 3.50 - by then I felt those pieces were at a safe distance from the sandstone arch to just cut them out. I speared it to keep it further away from the arch, rather than let it fly over towards where the arch was. Also like to put a little directional notch in those cuts just to get them far enough away from myself before slicing the hinge.
