Couple of my hooters ;-)

A couple of my first attempt at owls.

 

I used black marbles for eyes, as helpfully advised by fellow arbtalkers.

Then a small burner to add detail to the wings.

 

Hopefully ill be making a few more of these and improving my technique..

..although I now have a few more things on my shopping list.

Very good for first attempts mate, liking the detail for the feathers, I've done my first 2 barn owls in the past month and quite enjoying them, I won't post pics here and risk stealing the thread haha, keep it up fella

come on lets have a look..:001_smile:

 

Im all for learning and improving techniques etc and its nice to get some feedback good or bad...but as you say they are enjoyable doing them and seeing them come to life :001_smile:
