Thanks for that confirmation,are the pictures worth adding to the fungi gallery?

 

Forgot to ask ,is the Perenniporia fraxinea rare or just not common.

 

Thanks for the offer, but there's a fair few on the gallery already.

 

 

Its not really a rare occurance, although 'only' 212 records on the FRDBI data base

 

& these wouldn't include the dozens that Tony & I have probably come across.

 

 

I've just notice that there's an interesting entry from central London of the pages for Perenniporia.....
