Micro Arb Truck Winch Testing

Hi All

Our little low impact Micro Arb Truck just went another step further in it`s development

Winched a 35Ft long tree and 250/300 Kgs piece of Oak yesterday on a single line dead pull without skidding aid! The Oak left a trench!! lol Did it really well but looking for some more "test pilots" in the Reading/Berkshire area.

Hope to post a youtube video link tomorrow (if I get chance)

Does anyone have a woodland where timbers (3/4M-200/300Kgs) could ideally be pulled up a bank, looking to use the Micro Arb truck with our Log Arch both in a towing situation and also by using the winch and maybe a dead pull along the ground

Thanks, Keith

Had great afternoon with Keith and the microarb truck, winching, dragging and moving tonnes of timber. Imo this micro tool has macro capabilities. One person can achieve so much with this machine.

Pull out a hung up fell, safely from a good distance.

Take the main stem using the log arch to the timber milling store.

Stack the cord lengths on the truck and trailer and take to the log store.

Pull the brush up to the chipper or fire site.

Take the arisings away in a sack bag on the truck frame.

Take a load of chopped wood in a dumpybag and drop it off.

The point is that for a fraction of the cost of a loader or which would struggle in most woodlands one tree feller can achieve a lot safely and with less effort. It is a work smart tool good for productivity and with a lower environmental and financial impact. After I buy a new 4x4 I will be getting one pronto. thanks for the donation of your woods Scarlettarbor. looking forward to putting the arb truck and attachments through its paces again, need to video the micro arb truck and the trailer loaded in the wood area with 1000 kgs of timber, that`ll look good on the website. Should have the website re-vamped by Wednesday this week, should get the video on the forum soon, thanks again
