Navara bike rack

Well what a pain in the backside it is finding a bike rack to fit a navara roof rack. Has anyone here found something that fits please? Not interested in the towbar mounted ones, mainy because I don't have a towbar as yet and I need something for this weekend.

 

I'd have thought Nissan would do something that would fit in the c channels in the buck but can find nothing online.

What kind of cover u got on the back?

Mountain top covers have there own or see below for direct to C channel.

Why not just take a wheel of and pop in the buck?

I have a roller on it so the front 10" is taken up with the cannister.

 

I need to get 4 bikes in, so taking the wheel off isnt the answer unfortunately.

 

Just found the crossbar option a few minutes ago...it may be the best answer, cheers

No rack on the cab top? Work nav has one that would be good the kids bikes on cheaper systems or go all out for the Thule system.

Yeah I have the nissan roofrack, but the cross bars are too wide for any of the bike racks to clamp to apparently.

 

I'm not sure those cross bars are going to fit my truck, I reckon the inside runner for the roller top will be in the way

If you were closer Steve I would of made some brackets to accept the rack . Anyone closer that can weld a few brackets ?

I was in halfords earlier and they didnt mention this model. If im reading the spec right it oughta fit, says fits crossbars 70x55mm. My roof bars are just shy of 70mm so assuming the 70 in their measurements in the width then these should be ok.

I have a spare Thule proride, they are the best by far! I have two on my car and then another spare one, which I have been thinking of selling.

Would be £60 plus postage though. Its used once, in the original box with keys, instructions etc.
