Just wanted to know if any of you have used eco plugs to kill off stumps and what you thought of them, did they work. I've got two ash stumps and a couple of goat willow stumps to kill off that the grinder cant get to.

Very effective when used as per instructions. Not cheap though, I only use them if there is a good reason to use them over a liquid poison.

I don't see that you would. Read the instructions, drill holes, insert, tap in, collect invoice. Job done. No special handling.

I done a few blackthorn and a few willow and an ash back last year and recently re visted the sites to do other work and checked on them whilst there not one of them has shown any signs or surviving so very pleased with them

Onto my second box. Hate stump grinding so I'm forever selling them when I can. Takes a fair few on a big stump and the aren't cheap little fellows. Spare battery for the drill is a good idea, it's a big drill bit!

Use them all time on railways. No need for a spraying ticket. There already mixed etc. drill the depth an bang them in. If your planning on doing abit I'd recommend a stihl drill. Invest in a good bit too.
