Dual purpose vehicle

At present I deliver my IBC containers full of split logs using my MB Trac which is a bit sledgehammer to crack a nut. I have a cunning plan to convert my old land rover 90 into a delivery vehicle by adding a fork lift to the rear with fold up forks. The idea would then be to run on white diesel but under the rules of a dual purpose vehicle keeping the ability to tow a trailer. Even thought of making it agri reg to overcome the hassle of annual MOT. Any views on why it will not work. Existing 90 has rear bench seats with access only through the back door.
