Hello, any ideas on what the cost of hire is on a tracked chipper for a day is? Many thanks

That would really depend on where you are, what size of machine, and so on.

6-8inch is fine based in Eastbourne jobs in Crawley, orange plant email us all the time based in burgess hill which is on route to the job bit closed on a Saturday and told the client the quote would be with them by Saturday. Other questions is cleaning sharpening and fuel and extra cost? Do you have to take jerry cans so it goes back with the same amount or have the ball ache of going to a fuel station when you want rid of it to get home etc etc (obviously I know you put the fuel in) do you collect or do the deliver? down our way you can get a tracked greenmech for £300 a week, they fill it with diesel and it has to go back full or they charge you, your better off picking it up yourself as well as most hire companies charge delivery, if the blades are blunt just tell them and they should change them,
