Hi there.

Pretty new to this game, just been through my tickets and doing some ground work and a bit of climbing. been asked to look at a tree for some one i know, found this at the base. Been trying to ID it online, Is this Kretzschmaria deusta? I do hope not as have heard pretty horrible stories about it.

thanks

tree is in a large garden, approx 50ft from the house and 30ft from a large shed/workshop. Is the best process to get a tree officer to come and have a look to gauge it?

If it comes under tpo or conservation area regs, then the tree officer will come and look at it AFTER you have applied for appropriate works to the relevant standards.
