Cheers Steve my local place is quite a bit pricier but supposed il av to put up with it! Unless there's offers on at the Arb show..

 

if its just a hand held then try a Honda 4 stroke as good if not better than a sthil. when my sthil dies i will go and get a honda and its cheaper but well built. and does not have a stupid off switch like the sthil which breaks and costs to replace. now have to choke it to switch off. there not all that glitter sthil finding far better gear out there for a lot less.

I bought the Stihl about nine years ago. I've never even cleaned it and although it runs very rough, it still runs.

Not sure if I'll buy another Stihl though.
