The only worry is the written exams come first and the topics for those seem to be mostly stuff that varies between tedious and pointless.

 

I know where you are coming from with this...I am digging deep to crack on with this but would much rather be reading about the three types of Larch for the tech cert ID.

 

cheers steve ps Giles are you heading up the night before the written paper as I have been emailed Iain about arranging some accommodation?

Silver Lime - a real cracker.

Though this ones got a few old Gano brackets :sad:

I sliced and diced the tallest silver lime in Stockport a few years ago after it blew over. I think it was around 65 feet tall.

Do you remember why it failed Peter?

 

 

This one sits in the landscape on it's lonesome, so scale is difficult from the shot, but I reckon it's up around the 80/90 foot mark. :001_smile:
