Dont get to see many elms of that size anymore, well not round here anyway :sad:

 

My guess on the pops was to do with the bunches of leaves at the end of the branches.

 

I dont have many pics worth showing tbh will have to dig the camera out more often me thinks :001_smile:

what a cracking elm, i would like to think i would of got the poplars on the second pic:blushing well done mesterh:001_smile:

 

The pops do look quite ash-like in the first pic - you didn't have much to go on there.

 

The elm is enormous - I was so impressed that I knocked on the owner's door and asked to take few pictures, I was aware that they might think I was mad, but it turned out that I wasn't the first! :001_smile:
