Hiya

 

I've been doing a bit of dead wooding in a private woodland today and we noticed this poorly Laurel. What do you think could be wrong with it?

I had similar damage on a few of mine. I cut the bad stuff off and removed any fallen leaves . the colder spring along with some very bright days can damage these plants as they are best grown in shade. the patchy damage may be due to breaks in the canopy letting shards of light through. Think vampires!!
