It could be the roller pulling in switch located in the control box on top of the hopper, left hand side of the red stop switch (if that makes sense ?) just unscrew the top of the switch (small screw), give it a clean and a spray with the magic wd40. We had the same problem and this worked. The switch sometime sticks, you need to hear it clicking then it should be ok, hopefully !!

Get yourself a 12v test lamp and make sure you have supply to the switch and that the switched feed goes live, assuming that's ok chase the live till you find a problem, it goes to a relay and then the coil on the solenoid valve next.

Solenoids and coils can go bad, they usually just stop working but what you describe could be a thermal fault.

Wiggle the relays in the black box when it's not turning, if they start again you've found your answer, sometime the vibrations can deteriorate the contact.

Its not like 150dhb with forward and backward relays in the black box!! Theres only 1 relay and its not labeled!
