Just a thought the 560xp has 3 settings for the oiler, even on the lowest setting you'll still get a line of oil when testing but if you then start cutting hard at full bar length it may not be enough? i have it on medium for general work and turn it up to high if logging up.

I know high may be over the top for a 15" bar but for the cost of a little extra chain oil i prefer to have it well oiled.

Ah ok, I'll have a look into that, I've got an 18" bar on at the moment, got a 16" bar but waiting for a reel of chain so I can start making my own.

 

I have downloaded the 560xp maintenance PDF so I'll have a look.
