i like the idea of if they damage some thing and then if they fell it you still still know that they should not have felled it, but is is more for high value hard woods

On the plus side we gave a lad who is 45 a chance, only time he had used a saw was when he did his tickets, We paired him up with our most experinced cutter and after 2 days he was doing a fantastic job in hardwood thinnings, 6 weeks later he,s felling softwoods for saw logs and we can't fault his work.

start tidy, its easy to stay tidy, if someone left a mess like that on any site I was running, they would be looking for a new job

it was a dead pine tree and i gotta hold my hands up. yes i made the cuts too high, was a split level cut as i felled it against its leaning direction. so i just nipped it down when i was done
