Professional Tree Inspection in June with Guy Watson

A heads up for anyone that might be interested, Land Skills Training in Dorking are running a PTI course at the beginning of June with Guy Watson, as far as I know there's still places left. Im looking forward to doing this one and have heard that Guy is one of the best for delivering this course, well worth a look I reckon

I did my PTI course with Guy couple of years ago in Cornwall. Great instructor, a testing and demanding course but of huge benefit. Enjoy!!

Hey please tell me PTI stands for what and what kind of course it is?

Yeah sorry, should have written the whole title, it stands for 'Professional Tree Inspection'. There is a precursor course to this called the 'Basic Tree Inspection' which is more suited to those who have little or no experience in tree inspecting. Good luck if you decide to do either one

Cheers, really enjoyed the 3 days (not so much the last hour and a half!) guy certainly knows how to deliver the course content in a clear and concise way, he kept it all moving along at a good pace, and was very good at installing the confidence for us all to trust our knowledge and instinct, I'd be surprised if any of the other chaps on the course didn't pass too.

ive been lucky too to have spent the past year and abit working with David, its certainly gone a long way in furthering my knowledge and experience in the world of arb.

 

For those looking to do a PTI I'd definitely recommend guy Watson, and the lunch sandwiches at land skills training were pretty good too
