How about getting your insurance and qualifications together and go knock on some doors?Be polite,explain yourself clearly,if they are not interested leave a Business Card with them.

 

I bet if you knock on 100 Doors in the right neighbourhoods,you will have some result.

That's what travellers do, may get you the wrong name.

down here in london its more than common to go knocking on doors some times its what you have to do because if you dont go looking some times you might not get much for a few weeks most jobs i do is from yellow pages and leaflets and word of advice when you do a job in a road get your leaflets out go all leaflet the road

I'm a member of a trusted trader scheme and they expressly forbid cold calling, and i don't like it either way. I get some good work from it as its a well known and advertised scheme run by the council.
