yurt or something??

was wondering if anyone can recommend a place to book a weekend away in a yurt or similar in the south, decent driving time from winchester

The Sustainability Center in Hampshire has yurts, teepees etc. very popular so might need to book well in advance

 

Bit further afield in near us Northants (2 hour+ drive ish) there's an outfit hire canoes where you go down the river to a camping spot already set up with yurts etc. seem to do a range of prices for short breaks link to website

i stayed in a yurt in some woods near cirencester with the misses,i dunno how much it was as she organised it but she said it was a good price.

Hi mate, if you want the outdoorsy but with some style I would definitely recommend the Yurt at Harptree court in Somerset. Not too bad a drive from Winchester and well well worth it. I don't know how to put up a link but I found it on the 'canopy and star's website. Check out the tree house there too, I dream of living in something like that.
