I've only given it a quick scan; the ID test for CS38 caught my eye!!! ha ha

Mmmm...does that go for the pre 1997 (?)units also...?

 

Some worthwhile changes made imo....especially cs 38/39 whu... lends it considerably more credence....in particular RA (5 steps ) tpo offence etc....Why did they remove advantages of workshop maintenence from 30?....should prob read in detail...!

the key word is Has past tense

 

To what criteria How can this trainaing have been implemented if the criteria had not been given

 

Do they mean

continual use, industry practice or do they mean training

 

if training By whom

 

what are the implications for employers liability

 

If an accident occurs & a court hearing is held. the judge would take note of the AFAg guidance this indicates that nptc units are a recognised standard

if however those units are severed without a transition period

where are employers & employees left ?

with regard to who the NOS are. it is the National Ocupational Standard, administered by Lantra sector skills council, NOT Lantra-Awards two seperate bodies

 

befor them over 10 years ago SSC were called NTO national training organisations, Fastco represented forestry and arb, largly but not fully when the NTO became SSC they lost nearly 2/3 of the nto and grouped them together.

 

the nos is if you like a set of job descriptions, and performance criteriia that those job descriptions should be able to do, its a lot moor wordy than that, is a requirment of government, and any qualification that whants to be acredited must be based on the NOS
