Purpose Built Forwarder Thread (OSA, FMG/Bruunett, Entracon, Norcar/Logset etc)

Recommended Posts

Still undecided, shall i turn this 678f back to a forwarder or buy a hydraulic pump and use it as a harvester again.Would swap the keto 51ld head for a stroke delimber or a good forwarding trailer with crane. Do i need another forwarder?

Depends on what you're cutting and volume thereof. I take it from the desire for a stroke head you want to be cutting hardwood too? I'd have thought you could run a Keto 100 on that tho?

If you're decking big volumes you'd want to acquire a more productive harvester I'd reckon and then you'd need two bruunetts!

The gremo at work, what an impressive machine for something of this age !!

What length can you get on it i.e. what are the bay lengths? Fantastic buy, bet you're well happy.

Was plugging through deep mud in the bruunett today, fully loaded uphill; that international 574 engine is an absolute gem - it just grunts its way through with a lovely sound

Hi TCD, the 678 is going, sold the head to a guy in Slovakia he,s picking it up on Friday and the base machine is going in part ex on the Bumble Bee Osa 250, so a weeks time will be running a 578f and Osa 250.

Nice one. You still after a harvester? I'm lookimg for a 5f, 830 or 1170 now aswell...

TCD, we,ve got 2 really good handcutters, so we have no need of a harvester at the moment. But things change!

LOGROVER, does your Osa 250 have difflocks? a guy on another forum told me that Osa 250's don't have difflocks. I can,t believe that a forest machine would not have difflocks.
