kindling machine

i currently produce kindling with a saw bench and a chop saw, most is csl mill rejects or joinery off cuts

 

is there a machine to speed up the process?

Yes there are lots out there kindlett, posch , bgu all make good machines. A bit of research on the internet will produce the results you need.

kindlet didn't make it faster or less labour intensive, looking for a processor that will take lengths of timber

You mean you have found half the work is in the preparing the 6in pieces. The people that make or hire the machines forget to mention that bit when they quote 60 bags an hour.

Fuelwood do an automatic machine that takes length of timber cuts it and splits it I seem to remember it was pretty expensive and don't know if it was any good

I am looking to hire a kindling machine, anyone know where I can find one at a reasonable price? I only want it for about a week or so. Local would be good so anyone in Norfolk/ Suffolk area would be handy.
