use a throw-line?

no thanks, i get frustrated as it is. the last thing i need is to watch my groundies messing around with my throwline.

steve, where do you get them from?

Get in touch with your local powerline clearing contractors. They will sell (give?) you a set of fibreglass tree rods that are out of date. Very usefull piece of kit.

Not want you want to hear but i like the jamesons i could not afford the whole set either but i buy one more pole every time i go to the local saw shop got 4 now! definietly handy to have behind the seat along with a big shot wich you can also use on the poles as well as the hook.

I might have enough old ally poles lieing around to make a set but i have had to drill out the ends to put a bolt through as the screws are knackared and i think ive lost the hook that has snapped! but would not take alot to weld if i can find it!
