We have been felling these the past couple of days.

 

10 trees in total, needed to be felled due to the fact a few of them were leaning over the road and they were all reducing the amount of light getting to the woods planted either side of thed drive, the trees were going to be felled before the woods were planted but that didnt happen so it made work harder for us.#

 

This first picture actually looks like we have been doing tree surgon stuff :P climbing and what not, nah we used a mates 90ft volvo truck mounted platform, i was at college and didnt actually see this, would have been cool.

 

Most of them were pulled over by the fordsons winch.

Its so much easier using the forwarder to build a fire and burn the brash, saves pushing it up with a loader and getting all the mud in the fire :P

nice one mate, your ground looks really dry with you. are you firewooding the pop?

yeah its been really warm these past couple of days! depends what the owner wants to do, probably end up buying the firewood off him, i think hes keeping the timber for his own use though.
