Diagnostic tool calibration

Could the NPL National Physical Laboratory be of any help/cheaper? Generally speaking, they go out to where the equipment is within the UK. They used to be a government body but for many years now, have been a private company.

To calibrate an IML product?

I'm not sure tbh.

I would of thought (but do not know) that any technical service will be costly, even with the transportation costs taken out. (Was hoping to drop ours off to the supplier at the recent trade show, but they didn't attend)

Interesting line of thought though, thanks for your input:thumbup1:

We sent one for calibration last year - it also needed a refurb apparently.

I wasn't around when it was purchased originally but you'd hope the seller of these items would make clear the annual costs for calibration...£500 per year is no joke.

I've just bought a used Sibtec DDD200AR, does anyone know about any need to calibrate these too?

we ran the DDD200 for a few years up until replacing it with the PD400 last year

Sibtec have stopped making these machines now but you can still get spares etc.

We never had ours calibrated and I don't recal the company informing us about having it back for calibration during our handover training.

Perhaps worth giving them a call
