zip Start fuel mixture

Hi

Got myself a 13" bar zip start chainsaw

Sticker on it dose not say the fuel ratio mixture

Anyone know please

you taking bout the homelite zip? or something else?

Sounds about right looks a bit of a domestic modal

but as per useuall they dont put a modal number on it

Just use 50:1 stihl or husky oil

Yer every tom dick harry says they are all the same just use 50:1

Look at there ASDA bottles I bought just squert it into 1 liter of petrol and the jobs right

thats why the bottle says 1:50 all makes on the sticker

But we know that ant true as the old chainsaw runs from 25:1 to 100:1

Better quality oil is better for the machine. Get some stihl or husqvarna 2 stroke oil and mix it at 50:1.

Husky oil is made from rocking horse poo, works like stihl oil though

If ya use top grade 2T then maybe 50:1 if not then I'd go 40:1 however if you got make model etc then you should be able to get a manual somewhere I'd think

You mix the oil to the OIL manufacturers specification, older saws used 25:1 as that is what the oil manufacturers of the day speced their oil at.

 

If you use Stihl HP, you mix it at 50:1 for all machines as that is what the oil manufacturers recommend - even on older machines, more will just carbon the ports and exhaust up.
