Advise on milled timber

Hi,

 

Just need some rough pricing for a piece of timber for a 'plan' I have to make a table for my garden (at this point my wife will sigh and roll her eyes)

 

Needs to be big enough for 6 people. I just need the table top part and I want it to look like it was once on a tree so no need for perfection as I am a complete amateur and its just something to get me started!

 

Any help is much appreciated and if anyone is in the Surrey area that has some then let me know.

Around 250 but as it's green it could warp a little

Soooo - that chat went well. Something along the lines of - 250? Do you remember we have a baby due in October? What happens when you get it wrong as its your first try? Etc etc!

 

I may need to downsize or start a charm offensive!

Ha ha what you need is some 6-8 inch planks air dried so no warping, length as you need. Feel free to ring for some advice etc. or if you have any mills closer sure someone can help.

I'm doing a meaty cedar of Lebanon soon - this is near Romsey.

 

 

More stable timber, less interesting than hardwood but could do you a slab for £80-00 if you came and collected off site (not trying to undercut you there Copford as I think your price fair and this is knotty cedar direct from site!).
