If you have the right wheel on your bench grinder ie a green wheel or diamond one. You can also get a diamond wheel for an angle grinder but I aint tried those.

 

Make sure you wear a very good dust mask/breathing apparatus because the tc is very nasty stuff and or the silicon from the green wheels.

How do they compare to sharpening on a bench grinder diamond wheel? ie is it easy enough to get decent angles on them. I heard that the steel can clog up the wheel.

 

Just that my diamond wheel is on its last legs so maybe thinking of getting the one from Saturn.
